Timeline is a JavaScript tool for creating powerfull interactive timelines like facebook timeline in your own. It provides great interactivity with users. The timeline works in parallel with a content slider. So you can present different types of contents like video, blogpost, flickr stream, tweets etc…
Users can choose to browse the contents either by clicking the items in the timeline or by navigating through the content slider where both stays synchronized all the time. A very nice design is coming with timeline.
Timeline is also great for pulling in media from different sources. It has built in support for pulling in Tweets and media from Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Vimeo, Google Maps and SoundCloud. More media types will be supported in the future.
Creating one is as easy as filling in a Google spreadsheet or as detailed as JSON.
Items are listed in chronological order, we can go back and forth through the timeline with drag ‘n drops and it is possible to expand/contact it.
